Dorothy Pyle and her sister, Charlotte Wheatheread, started Our Funny Bonz Factory in late 2005.  They grew up in the little town of Fort Laramie, Wyoming, where the store is currently located, and decided to contribute to their hometown community.  The store was founded in 2005.  Their initial grand opening was delayed from 2005, however, because they were taking donated supplies by bus to the furry Hurricane Katrina  victims.  Improving the condition for our beloved friends is always on the top of the list for these ladies.

Our Funny Bonz Factory began as an idea to make a better product for dogs.  That idea was then extended to cats and horses.  Treats are  even made for 4H animals such as cows and goats, on request.  Dorothy and Charlotte worried about the quality of the products that pets were receiving.  What kind of chemicals were in them?  What coloring or preservatives?  Was the maker reputable and willing to stand behind its work?  They couldn't answer these questions about products that were currently available, so they decided to make a product about which they knew the answers to all the above questions; a product with only the best quality ingredients.  This product had to be tasty, affordable and healthy.  The treats they have come up with are irresistable to dogs, as well as cats and horses.  They are made fresh and right there at the store.  The production is known from where the ingredients are obtained, to how the treats are produced, how they are packaged and how they are shipped.  Dot and Char have created a product which is well worth trying and using.  Wouldn't it be comforting to give your pets something that is made with love, and that they'll love too?  Check us out!
